A Great Place to Learn How to Play Piano

Hello and welcome; I am Maria Lewander, your piano instructor here at Piano Studio Black & White. 

The Studio was established in 1998. Since then, I have had the privilege to welcome hundreds of students from all over the world to learn about the beautiful world of music and the lifelong skills developed when learning a musical instrument.

I specialize in teaching beginners to early advanced piano students of all ages to play the piano with enjoyment and skill. 

Private piano lessons are offered online or in the Studio to all ages from 6 and up, beginners to early advanced. Languages spoken are English, Greek, or Swedish.

Did you know? It is never too late to start piano lessons. Adult piano beginners are more than welcome too! I often work with adult piano students, people who are either returning to the piano or starting from scratch. With a foundation in classical piano techniques, we study a variety of repertoires in different styles. The lessons can also be tailored to your musical interests.

Save time on travel! 

Online music lessons are a safe, convenient, and stress-free way to have high-quality, focused 1-on-1 instruction in your own home.

For online lessons, I use Zoom together with multiple cameras, microphones, and other online tools to make it possible to share musical concepts even if we’re not in the same room. 

You only need a good internet connection, a device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone), and headphones.
